Musical notes

DSC_5485

When I was younger I lived and breathed music.  One of my biggest regrets is that I never learned how to play an instrument.  I spent most of my early 20’s working in record stores and attending every concert I could mange to get tickets to.  I think one of the side effects of growing older is that we lose touch with things we love the most as we age.  I miss the thrill of discovering new artists and going to live shows.  I’ve always appreciated when a friend gives me a new song to check out so I thought that once a week I would share some of my favorite music with you.

I tend to gravitate towards singer songwriters and I’m a huge sucker for a broken heart. These aren’t new artists but songs that have stuck with me for a long time and I never get tired of them. Thanks for letting me share one of my favorite things with you and don’t worry, I’ll be back with a new recipe for you tomorrow!

        Thanks Johanna,

I know it’s a big departure for me but I realized that this blog is an opportunity for me to share and explore all the things I love, music included!
