Avocado tartines, two ways
For a super easy snack or light meal grab some great bread an avocado and a splash of olive oil or soy sauce.
Serves: 2
  • for the tartines:
  • 2 slices of good quality bread
  • ½ avocado, diced
  • For the olive oil version:
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • pinch of crushed red pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • For the soy sauce version:
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon torn basil leaves
  1. Lightly toast the bread. Layer the avocado over the top or lightly mash with the back of a fork.
  2. For the olive oil version, drizzle the olive oil over the top, sprinkle with the crushed red pepper and season with salt and pepper
  3. For the soy sauce version, drizzle the soy sauce over the top, sprinkle with the sesame seeds and basil.
