Barcelona, a city of wonder

Barcelona a walk through history - www.scalingbackblog.com

My family and I are traveling through Barcelona this week and I thought I’d share some photos from our first few days here.  It’s my first trip abroad and I am astounded by the vibrance and beauty of the city.  I’ll be back next week with a full recap!

How lovely! I’m going to Barcelona for the first time ever next month – this is quite an exciting look at what I’m anticipating. Thanks!

Happy to hear you had a good time. Your pictures are really striking. They make me feel so small!

I’m quite envious as Barcelona is #1 on my “places I want to go” list.
Probably #1 on my “places I don’t want to return from” list too, but I can’t be sure about that until my first list is endeavored.

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just travel when you wanted to and jobs and life worked around that? (rather than the other way around…)
      *sigh*

        Hi Rita,

It was really a beautiful city and I’m so glad that we went. It was a little bit of a challenge adjusting to eating at such different times than we do in the states but one I got used to it I found it actually suited me. The food and architecture was beyond anything I imagined!
