This is one of those little finds that brighten your day.  I do have a weakness for ceramic sculptures but have only acquired a few over the years.  This little guy is special to me because it is a classic example of mid-century design by Taisto Kaasinen and it was designed in 1963 for Arabia.  My mother-in-law actually has 3 of them and when I expressed how much I love them she gifted me one as a Christmas present one year.  It gives a little thrill to own something that you know can’t be easily found and purchased making it that much more special to you.
