Grapefruit smoothie

It’s been a week since I gave up caffeine and it’s getting a little easier everyday.  There is no way that I could have done it without my daily smoothies.  The added benefit seems to be that I am feeling a lot less pain in my joints.  I have been dealing with some major back pain for awhile and I don’t know if it is a coincidence but since I’ve starting juicing my back feels so much more mobile and less painful than it has for a long time.

Here is a great smoothie to get you going in the morning.  Tart ruby red grapefruit, oranges, cucumber and mint make a super refreshing way to start your morning.  The date supplies a good amount of fiber vitamins and minerals compared to most sweeteners. Enjoy!
